Return and Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Leg Up Accounting & Professional Services. We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not satisfied, you may return your item within 30 days of delivery under the terms below.

1. 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date your order is delivered to request a return. After 30 days, we are unable to offer a refund, exchange, or store credit.

2. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be the same book you received, in the same condition as when it was delivered
  • Not have been damaged, written in, or altered after delivery
  • Be returned with proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

Because our books are sold used (“occasion”), normal signs of previous use described in the product listing are not considered defects.

3. Items We Cannot Accept

  • Items returned after the 30-day window
  • Items damaged by the customer after delivery (water damage, torn or missing pages, markings, etc.)
  • Items that are not the ones sold by our store

4. How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at nolivierfrederic@gmail.com or call +1 (859) 576-0527 within 30 days of delivery.
  2. Include your name, order number, the item you want to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. We will review your request and send you return instructions and the return address.
  4. Pack the book securely and ship it back to us. Please do not send items back without contacting us first, as returns sent without approval may not be processed.

5. Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our error (see section 7), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

6. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will email you to confirm that we received it and tell you whether your refund is approved.

  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method.
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5 to 10 business days after approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
  • The original shipping fee is not applicable, since we offer free standard shipping.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your book arrives damaged, is not as described, or is not the item you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at nolivierfrederic@gmail.com. Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement (if available) or a full refund, and we will cover the return shipping cost in these cases.

8. Exchanges

Because our inventory consists of single used copies, exchanges are subject to availability. If you would like a different title, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

9. Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order before it ships, contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund. Once an order has shipped, it must be returned under this policy.

10. Lost or Delayed Packages

Our estimated delivery time is 3 to 8 business days. If your order has not arrived after that time, please check your tracking information and then contact us. We will work with the carrier to locate your package, and if it cannot be found, we will send a replacement or issue a refund.
